Rustam Minnikhanov visits exhibition «RUSSIA HALAL EXPO»

On May 19, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the exhibition «RUSSIA HALAL EXPO» during the 9th International economic summit “Russia-the Islamic world: KazanSummit 2017” at Korston hotel.

Chairman of Muslim Spiritual Administration Kamil Samigullin told about development of halal market in the republic, activity of enterprises on the production of certain goods and future plans on product expansion.   

50 producers from different regions of Russia, foreign delegates, and Turkish companies are taking part in the exhibition.

Besides food products, clothes, halal cosmetics, and toys are presented at the exhibition.

Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Minister of economy Artem Zdunov, and Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina.
