Nikolai Nikiforov: Electronic state services are becoming more popular among Tatarstan citizens

“Electronic state services are becoming more popular among Tatarstan citizens”, - Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of info and communications Nikolai Nikiforov said at a briefing in RT Cabinet.

Using laptop Nikolai Nikiforov demonstrated easiness of using electronic state services on-line via web site uslugi.tatar.ru. By words of Head of Ministry of communications more than 727 000 of various interactive and electronic services were rendered to citizens in May 2011.

The most popular services are still submission of applications for marriage registration to Civil Registry Office and queueing for allocation of places in kindergartens.

The number of on-line payments is also increasing. 21 % of fines of State road traffic safety inspection were paid on-line in May 2011. Tatarstan citizens paid almost 1,4 mln. roubles for housing and communal services via portal. Today 93 % of households can pay for housing and communal services on-line using any banking card.

Besides it is possible now to pay for social mortgage on-line.

It should be noted that new electronic service of State road traffic safety inspection Directorate under Ministry of interiors on RT are now available for Kazan dwellers: vehicle registration and removal from the register, its re-registration, receiving copies of registration plate and documents, substitution of driving license, technical inspection, receiving international certificate of technical inspection and copy of technical inspection certificate.
Nikolai Nikiforov told that via portal uslugi.tatar.ru it is possible to pay for various administrative penalties set by Directorate for consumer rights and health protection on RT, get information and pay debts of enforcement proceedings undertaken by Bailiffs Service.

The Minister informed that within two years 92 of most significant state services would be converted to electronic form and network of infomats would be enlarged in RT.
