Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with the work of the third Kazan OIC Youth Entrepreneurship Forum

On May 19, during the ninth International Economic Summit “Russia – the Islamic World: KazanSummit 2017”, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with participants of the third Kazan OIC Youth Entrepreneurship Forum.

The first Kazan OIC Youth Entrepreneurship Forum was held in 2015. The purpose of the event is to create conditions for realizing the potential of the youth of the Russian Federation and Muslim countries through supporting original projects and teaching them new quality of project management.

This year 88 people from 18 countries around the world are taking part in the forum, including Russia, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Yemen, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, etc.

During the event, young businessmen presented their investment start-up projects. Thus, new solutions in the field of online learning, high-tech medicine, transport services for the population, and agriculture were announced.

Minnikhanov appreciated all the presented projects. He noted that the forum platform is actively functioning, involving more and more like-minded young innovators.

"Authors of start-up projects from different countries are present here today. I am sure that consolidation of the efforts of the young generation and the world business community will become the foundation for solving the most topical economic and social issues," Tatarstan President added .

Minister of Informatization and Communication of the republic Roman Shaikhutdinov, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, representatives of special economic zones of the republic and regional technology parks took part in the meeting.
