Prime Minister of Tatarstan: “Information technology of industrial Russia-2017” becomes a powerful intellectual event

On May 24, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin took part in the conference “Information technology of industrial Russia-2017” in Innopolis (May 24-26). Russian Minister of Communications Nikolay Nikiforov arrived to take part in the event.

A specialized exhibition of Russian IT companies was organized at the forum. Intelligent video surveillance system for public transport, data storage system with biometric control, and other solutions were presented to the guests.

Speaking at the conference, Pesoshin welcomed the audience on behalf of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and expressed his hope that conclusions made during the forum would have a positive impact on government decisions in IT industry.

Nikolay Nikiforov said that the format of the third conference is connected with the address of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federal parliament in which he talked about the development of a new programme “Digital economy”.

Nikiforov presented the model of the programme “Digital economy-2024”. He believes that a lot of attention should be paid to information security and jurisdiction should become favourable to the implementation of advanced technologies.

According to the minister, Tatarstan has made a breakthrough - 79 per cent of its citizens use electronic state services.
