Tatarstan delegation takes part in XV annual International economic forum in St.Petersburg

RT delegation led by the President Rustam Minnikhanov is in St.Petersburg to take part in work of XV annual International economic forum (June 16-18, 2011).
Tatarstan delegation is composed of Aide to RT President on international issues – Director for Department of external relations Iskander Muflikhanov, Director-general of JSC “Tatneft” Shafagat Takhautdinov, Chairman of “Ak Bars” Bank executive board Robert Minnegaleev, Head of Agency for investment development Linar Yakupov and RT Minister of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov.
Members of RT delegation will take part in official opening of XV annual International economic forum (complex “Lenexpo”, congress hall), plenary session “Ensuring global economic growth. Leaders of new era”. Speech of RF President Dmitry Medvedev is planned within the frameworks of plenary session. The session “New ways of ensuring energy safety” with participation of RF President Dmitry Medvedev and heads of the largest world energy corporations will be held within the limits of forum.
Besides work at XV annual International economic forum Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov is going to have some meetings in the course of working trip to St.Petersburg. Thus, on June 17 Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Governor of Krasnoyarsk region Lev Kuznetsov, officials of infrastructure fund “Makkuari capital”. RT President will also be interviewed by information agencies “ITAR-TASS” and RIA “News”.

On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.

On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.

On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
