On May 31, at the Kazan Grand Hotel, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a research and practical conference on topical issues of the formation of anti-corruption standards and their application.

Addressing conference participants, Minnikhanov said that anti-corruption standards formed at the All-Russian Conference in Kazan are now as relevant as ever.

"I am glad that representatives of the Russian presidential administration, federal ministries and departments, state agencies of the country's regions and leading scientists engaged in the study of anti-corruption issues have arrived. In modern conditions, the creation of favorable conditions for the development of the Russian economy, the development of competition, and the implementation of innovative projects are as important as ever. Radical measures and strict standards to include both criminal procedural and administrative methods of influence are needed. It is important to check the performance of duties by heads of large enterprises with state participation. In Tatarstan we have started this work by introducing changes in the company's statutes and labor contracts with senior managers. Moreover, large regional companies have adopted anti-corruption standards," Tatarstan President said.

In his turn, Head of Tatarstan President Administration for anti-corruption policy Mars Badrutdinov said that the regional group that unites branch ministries and agencies, scientific and public organizations is functioning under Tatarstan President Administration's authority. Its main task is to analyze the state of corruption and corruption risks in government agencies and economic spheres. Tatarstan has 12 year experience in implementing anti-corruption measures, he said.

Following the conference, it is planned to hold several relevant sessions to share the experience of those who have achieved real and visible results in their regions.
