Tatarstan and RusHydro Power Generating Company sign cooperation agreement in the sphere of development of information technology

On June 1, during the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of RusHydro Power Generating Company Nikolay Shulginov signed a cooperation agreement, which aims at promoting relations in the sphere of information technology, scientific, technical, innovative, information, analytical and expert activities at the University of Innopolis.

The parties agreed to use the scientific and technical potential of the University of Innopolis to manage information security, energy logistics, automation and robotization of technological processes at power facilities, during research, development and technological work, training, internships and professional development of employees of the RusHydro Group.

Also, Minnikhanov and Shulginov considered setting up a research and development centre in the field of renewable power generation technology at the IT university.
