Rustam Minnikhanov holds meetings with representatives of foreign companies during St. Petersburg international economic forum-2017

On June 1, during St. Petersburg international economic forum-2017 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a number of meetings with representatives of foreign companies.

During his conversation with President of МSD International (USA) Kevin Ali, further steps on strengthening of cooperation in the sphere of health care and pharmaceutics were defined. The project to support scientists and organizations working on innovations in health care that are being developed by MSD was discussed.

At his meeting with IBM Vice-president Bruno Di Leo Tatarstan President noted that the republic has cooperated with IBM for years, and the company opened its customer service center in Kazan.  According to Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan and IBM can cooperate in the sphere of electronic health care and implementation of the concept “Industry 4.0”.

Bruno Di Leo thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for his help in the implementation of IBM initiatives and expressed his hope for further cooperation.

The implementation of a joint project on creating the Center of research and development work in Innopolis was discussed at the meeting with Director General of Schneider Electric Jean-Pascal Tricoire. The opening of the center is planned for the end of 2017.
