Dmitry Medvedev visits festival “The creation of peace” in Kazan

President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev visited rock live festival “The creation of peace” on visiting Kazan. The event is held in Tatarstan capital for the fourth time. One of its organizers is Kazan Mayor’s office. This year more than 200 musicians from 12 countries (Russia, Great Britain, USA, Canada, Portugal and others) took part in the festival “The creation of peace”. Headliners - «Public Image Ltd» revived by John Lidon (unchallenged leader of cult punk group «Sex Pistols») in 2009, John Fogerty, “Neprikasaemye” led by Garik Sukachev, Bi-2 and Andrei Makarevich with Orchestra of Creole tango.
Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin accompanied President of Russia at the festival.
Dmitry Medvedev welcomed multiple audience gathered at Millenium Square from the stage.
President of Russia appreciated high level of cultural events organization in Kazan. “Sabantui was held on the highest level today, and a brilliant concert is held in the evening. I sincerely envy you because I’m not able to watch the whole concert”, - Dmitry Medvedev addressed guests.
Dmitry Medvedev, Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin spoke to spectators in fan zone and watched the performance of Ukrainian-American group Gogol Bordello. Dmitry Medvedev also took a picture with foreign guests of the festival “The creation of peace” – members of group Gangbe Brass Band from Benin.

On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.

On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
