Rustam Minnikhanov meets Russia's Deputy Minister of Defence Yuri Borisov

On June 7, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Presiden Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Minister of Defence of Russia Yuri Borisov, Deputy Director General for Investment Activity of Rostec State Corporation Dmitry Lelikov and Director General of Russian Helicopters Andrey Boginsky discussed further cooperation in the field of the defence industry complex.

During their stay in Kazan, representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defence, Rostec Corporation and Russian Helicopters visited the Kazan Helicopter Plant and other defence enterprises.

Boginsky reported Borisov about the progress of deliveries of helicopters under the state defence order. Moreover, plans for the procurement and use of Mi-38 helicopters in accordance with the parameters of the future state armaments programme were discussed.

Today, during their visit to the Kazan Helicopter Plant Borisov and Andrei Boginsky inspected production facilities and discussed procurement and production plans, as well as Mi-38 multi-purpose helicopters that will be equipped to meet the needs of the Ministry of Defence of Russia.
