Reconstruction of highway “Kazan-Zelenodolsk” to be finished by August, 30

“Reconstruction of 12-km section of motor road “Kazan-Zelenodolsk” is to be finished by August, 30, 2011”, - head of FGU “Federal department for motor roads of Volga-Vyatka region” Mukhammat Gatiyatullin informed at a briefing in RT Cabinet.
By words of M. Gatiyatullin, after reconstruction the section of highway from settlement Zalesny to traffic circle near settlement Ilinsky will correspond to category 1B - 4 traffic lines in both directions and 3 overground pedestrian crosswalks will be equipped along the highway.
Mukhammat Gatiyatullin informed as well that the traffic on new bridge crossing over Vyatka near Mamadysh would be opened by the Day of republic. When new crossing is opened the old bridge will be disassembled and the second line of crosswalk to be constructed. By words of M. Gatiyatullin currently the project of the second construction line is on approval. The approximate period of completing construction works is 2012-2013.
The reconstructed section of highway M7 with length of 17 km to the village Shali will be put into operation by November,1,2011.
Mukhammat Gatiyatullin added likewise that this year it is planned to hold repair works at 172 km of federal roads in RT that makes 17 % of total length. Generally, repair of federal roads in Tatarstan in 2011 makes 5 bln. roubles.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
