On June 23, at their meeting at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Kyrgyz republic Almazbek Atambayev discussed issues of cooperation in economic, cultural, engineering, aircraft engineering, chemical production and fuel energy sectors, medicine and health care, tourism and education.
The parties also discussed prospects of supplies of KAMAZ and ElAZ equipment for the needs of road and construction, housing and utility sectors of Kyrgyz Republic.
Almazbek Atambayev said that he had high hopes for the current meeting and noted that it was his first visit to Tatarstan. He continued that Tatarstan projects “Electronic Government” and “Safe city” were announced the best in Russia. “We want you to let our specialists come here and pass internship in the sphere of information technologies,” Atambayev said. Rustam Minnikhanov said that IT specialists study at Innopolis University.
Almazbek Atambayev also suggested opening a flight “Kazan- Issyk Kul-Kazan”.
A reception on behalf of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in honour of the delegation of Kyrgyz Republic was held after the meeting. Members of the delegation also attended a concert of masters of art at S.Saidashev big concert hall.
