Rustam Minnikhanov visits State historical and cultural museum reserve “Lenino-Kukushkino”

On June 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited State historical and cultural museum reserve “Lenino-Kukushkino” (Pestrechinsky region, Tatarstan). A short tour around the museum was organized for the president.

The museum comprises a two-storey mansion of Alexander Blank, courtyard house, household buildings, and a park. The collection includes items of applied art, domestic items, documents, etc.

Rustam Minnikhanov and Director of the museum Rustam Abdurakhimov discussed issues of the repair and reconstruction of the buildings.

Rustam Minnikhanov was also presented a project of the repair of hydraulic structure at the Ushnya River that was built in 1934.

The president recommended the regional State committee on tourism and Ministry of culture of the republic to think about a new concept of work of the museum reserve with the opportunity of year-round visit for tourists and school children.

Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by Minister of culture Airat Sibagatullin, Aide to Tatarstan President Olesya Baltusova, Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva, and other officials.
