101 bodies found after the shipwreck

Bodies of 101 people perished in “Bulgaria” shipwreck have been retrieved, Ministry of emergency situations informs on July,13 16:00 pm (63 women, 21 children, 17 men). Bodies of 91 people were identified. 67 bodies were given to relatives for burial.

Main efforts are aimed to investigation of water basin, bank lines and islands. Water basin of the Volga River, bank area extended for 190 km and 19 islands have been examined. 195 specialists fulfill diving operations.

Operations on rendering psychological aid to relatives of the dead and localization of oil products spill are being implemented.
