5 July 2017, Wednesday

On July 5, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin took part in a video-conference on improving supervisory and monitoring activities held by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

Opening the meeting, Medvedev reminded that the reform of supervisory and monitoring activities has started in the country. "This sphere was singled out as a separate priority programme," he said. “All the targets of the reform up to 2025 were specially formulated and approved. We discussed them yesterday at the United Russia party commission. Therefore, this topic is very important for various formats of discussion," Medvedev continued.

Russian Prime Minister stressed "the success of any reform depends to a large extent on the effectiveness of its implementation in the regions."

Today we need to discuss how this work is organized and how the reform is coordinated with territorial bodies, Medvedev noted.

He also reminded that starting from 2018 all planned inspections should be carried out based on the categories of risks only.
