On August 22, during his working visit to Moscow region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the Army 2017 International Military-Technical Forum, which is being held from the 22nd to the 27th of August at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Centre, Kubinka.
International specialized exhibitions such as "Russian Arms Exhibition" and "Intellectual Industrial Technologies", an expanded exposition "Innovation Club", dynamic display programmes, including the aviation cluster at the Kubinka airfield will be held during the forum.
The static exposition of the forum covers a total area of more than 250,000 square meters. This year the programmes of static and dynamic displays of aviation equipment at the Kubinka airfield have been significantly expanded.
More than 18.75 thousand exhibits will be demonstrated at the Army-2017 forum, which is 62 per cent more than at the last year's forum. Seven states, including Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Pakistan, Slovakia, and South Africa will display their national expositions at the forum.
Minnikhanov, accompanied by Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Albert Karimov and other officials, looked around the exposition of military equipment. In particular, he visited the stand of Zelenodolsk Shipyard.
