On 15 May during the official walk round of the exhibition organized on the sideline of the XV Internationals Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum-2024”, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov told the honorary guests about the domestic produce and unique digital solutions represented at the exposition of residents of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone and the Innopolis University.
On 24 April Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov together with speakers and experts, investors, representatives of start-ups and venture funds, large corporations and development institutes took part in events of the “zero” day of the Russian Venture Forum dedicated to the topic of “Technological Entrepreneurship: the space of highest skills.
On April 16, at their meeting in Innopolis, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov, the delegation of Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade headed by the Director of the Department of Regional Industrial Policy Ivan Kulikov and Director General of Innopolis Special Economic Zone Renat Khalimov discussed the areas of cooperation related to the development of the production sector of the Innopolis innovation center in the high-tech industries.
A decree of the Russian Government passed on 23 December of the current year has fixed the planned amount of money to reimburse expenditures from the Tatarstan budget on construction of infrastructure facilities in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Innopolis, namely 919.1m rubles till 2026 on the Laishevo industrial park and 704.6m till 2027 on Innopark high-tech park, built at the SEZ in the end of 2022.
On 9 November the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Dmitriy Krutoy accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov came to the City of Innopois where he visited several infrastructural facilities of the IT city and the Special Economic Zone of Innopolis, including the Center for Robotics and Mechatronics Components Technology, the Unmanned Technologies Center, the AI lab. Electronics and Micro-electronics Design Center and the Center for Support and Development, the objectives of which is to develop science-consuming robotic products and services for industrial partners and to implement new educational programmes.
On October 24, Tatarstan delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Roman Shaykhutdinov arrived on a working visit in the Republic of Uzbekistan to establish cooperation in information and communication technologies.
The Innopolis Innovational Center will take an active part in the coming International Forum Kazan Digital Week 2023 to be held in the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center on 20-22 September by representing solutions of companies-residents of the Special Economic Zone of Innopolis, showing developments of students and the faculty of the Innopolis University, and signing agreements important for the innovational center.
On July 25, Innopolis hosted an expanded meeting of the Association of Russian Expertises held with the participation of the Head of the Federal Autonomous Institution “Main Department of State Expertise” Igor Manylov, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Roman Shaykhutdinov, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin, regional First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector Aleksey Frolov and other guests.
On 21 June leaners of the RANEPA programme “Master of Executive Public Administration”, including heads of state bodies and commercial companies from Armenia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and other CIS countries, who came on a reference visit to Innopolis, visited the University of Innopolis and the Popov Technical Park and listened to a lecture from Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov about future development of the city.
On 4 April at their meeting in Innopolis Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov and the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Uzbekneftegas Company Behzod Usmanov discussed issues of cooperation of the company and the University of Innopolis in training the high-rank managers and specialists in digital transformation and digitalization of the oil and gas sphere as well as the implementation by the Company of digital platforms and geo-information systems for oil and gas industry developed by the specialists of the university .
