On August 4, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Revival Regional Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev had a meeting with the delegation of Tatars from Astrakhan region, who are taking part in the 6th Session of the World Congress of Tatars.
On August 3, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Vasil Shaikhraziev was elected chairman of the national council “Milli shura”. This information was announced at a plenary session of the 6th congress of the World congress of Tatars. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev supported his candidature.

On August 3, at the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of the South Moravian region Bohumil Šimek in the Kazan Kremlin it was announced that the working group will be established following the visit of the delegation of the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic led by Bohumil Šimek to Tatarstan.
