President of Tatarstan opens kindergarten in Almetievsk

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov who is taking part in August meeting of educational workers opened new kindergarten in Almetievsk and visited other educational institutions. Head of Republic was accompanied by RT Premier Ildar Khalikov, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, heads за ministries and departments.
The Child Development Centre – Almetievsk kindergarten № 1 “Belekech” for 270 places was built by republican program “Belekech”. Estimated cost of the object made 189,7 mln. roubles. 17,8 mln. roubles were allocated for providing modern equipment and inventory. Financing was provided at the expense of extra means of JSC “Tatneft” and State housing fund.
Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated Almetievsk dwellers on opening new kindergarten. “We will build many of similar objects this year in republic, more than 11 000 places will be provided at new kindergartens”, - RT President reminded. He also thanked Director-general of JSC “Tatneft” Shafagat Takhautdinov for constructing new kindergarten.
After cutting symbolic red ribbon honorable guests overviewed new kindergarten – musical room, theatre studio, choreographic hall, swimming pool.
At school № 16 guests handed schoolbags to future first formers and got acquainted with region’s experience in the sphere of informatization of secondary education. All students of modern school have their own flash drives with software for execution of home tasks. There is also a studio for 3D-modelling and a special class for sight protection where children make exercises for their eyes.
Secondary special education was presented to Tatarstan authorities by the example of Almetievsk polytechnic school. Programs of extended professional education by 47 areas on professional development, professional training and retraining are being realized in the school. JSC “Tatneft” is the main partner of polytechnic school. The company invests means into equipment and development of the school. Today the most advanced educational technologies were presented to the guests.
RT President was interested in messaging system for students which helps to know about changes in curriculum and timetable.
At Almetievsk plant “Radiopribor” Tatarstan chiefs got acquainted with work of branch of Tupolev Kazan state technical university. Projects of minor oil enterprises of the university were introduced to the guests. Rustam Minnikhanov was interested in technology of natural bitumen production and gave assignment to Director-general of JSC “Tatneft” Shafagat Takhautdinov to consider opportunity of using such a technology.

On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
On 8 May, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported that capital overhaul of social facilities is in full swing in the republic with 170 educational facilities having been included into regional and federal programmes.
On 4 May at a briefing held in the Tatarstan Government House it was told that currently there are 92 combat veterans, the last witnesses of the Great Patriotic War (WW II) of 1941-1945, living in the republic. The briefing also informed about veterans’ support measures and how the republic is planning to celebrate the Victory Day on 9 May.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva told that names of 353 Heroes of the Soviet Union from Tatarstan “ are immortalized in street names, on memorials, in monuments and squares and, of course, in our memory”. “The Victory Day is the day of memory, mourning and joy. It is the event which today should be clearly understandable to all young people and younger generation of Tatarstan,” she said.
