Days of Moscow to be held in Tatarstan on August 25-26

Journalists were told today about events within the framework of Days of Moscow in Tatarstan at a traditional briefing in House of RT Government. The briefing was held in format of video conference with participation of all municipal regions of republic.
RT Minister of culture Airat Sibagatullin, First deputy minister of industry and trade Igor Nosov, First deputy minister of education and science Danil Mustafin, Deputy minister of labor, employment and social care Azat Gabdulakhatov answered questions of mass media.
By words of Igor Nosov, 11 officials from RF government, 47 representatives of companies and organizations representing business community of the capital, 60 representatives of culture, 35 members of Tatar national autonomy in Moscow will arrive in Kazan to take part in Days of Moscow in Tatarstan on August 25-26. Delegation will be led by Deputy Mayor Aleksandr Gorbenko.
Igor Nosov reminded that today Moscow is region No 1 by volume of trade turnover.
The following events will be held during Days of Moscow in Tatarstan: “round table” dedicated to problems of economic development at which presentations of SEZ “Alabuga”, technopark “Idea” will be shown and facilities of modern technologies in the sphere of road traffic management will be introduced. The “round table” will be held in technopark “Idea” in Kazan.
Besides social and cultural actions will take place on August 25-26. Veterans of Great Patriotic War living in Tatarstan who participated in defence of Moscow will receive presents from Moscow government (microwave ovens).
By words of Deputy minister of labor, employment and social care Azat Gabdulakhatov 103 GPW veterans who participated in defence of Moscow live in Tatarstan. Also large families and orphan homes will receive gifts within the limits of Days of Moscow in Tatarstan.
Delegation of Moscow government will visit objects of sport infrastructure, River station, and meet with leadership of Tatarstan Republic particularly with the President Rustam Minnikhanov.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.
