Tatarstan Premier Ildar Khalikov: 2,3 bln. roubles to be drawn at Universiade objects in August, 2,7 bln. roubles – in September

“Telebridge” between Chinese Shenzhen and Tatarstan capital - Kazan was held on August 23 after the ceremony of transfeering FISU flag from China to the country that will host 27th World summer student sport games - Universiade 2013.

In Kazan equipment for telebridge was set in the building of Executive office of Universiade 2013 (Peterburgskaya st.). Representatives of federal and republican mass media, executives of Ministry of youth affairs, sport and tourism, RT Premier Ildar Khalikov took part in video conference.

On the part of Shenzhen First deputy chairman of RF Government - Head of organization committee on preparation and holding Universiade-2013 in Kazan Igor Shuvalov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and journalists accredited at actions within the limits of Universiade-2011 in Shenzhen participated in the event.

Head of RT Government Ildar Khalikov congratulated whole country on excellent performance of Russian team at Universiade-2011 in Shenzhen and noted that Tatarstan made a considerable contribution - 20 medals 10 of which are golden.

“Everyone should fell comfortable at forthcoming Universiade in Kazan including sportsmen, guests and citizens of the city”, - Ildar Khalikov stressed. By his words, construction of 28 sport objects of 32 has now been completed. Works on football stadium for 45 000 places, Palace of water sports Centre of gymnastics and third cluster of Universiade Village are underway. At the same time operations at 155 objects of transport infrastructure are being implemented. 2,3 bln. roubles will be drawn at objects in August, 2,7 bln. roubles – in September.

A solemn ceremony of transferring FISU flag from China to Russia took place in Shenzhen on August 23 within the ceremony of closing World summer student games 2011. Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin received the flag from Mayor of Shenzhen.
