President of Tatarstan met with representatives of Tatar national – cultural autonomy of Moscow

On August,25 President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with representatives of Tatar national – cultural autonomy of Moscow and natives of Tatarstan Republic.
The meeting took place in Kazan Kremlin with participation of Deputy Premier Zilya Valeeva, Chairman of Russia Mufti Board Ravil Gainutdin, Chairman of Executive committee of World congress of Tatars Rinat Zakirov, Chairman of regional Tatar national – cultural autonomy of Moscow Rasim Akchurin.
“We are glad that our relationships with Moscow are becoming stronger day by day. Days of Moscow are being held in Kazan on August 25-26. We are greeting here Tatars who made a great contribution in development of our country and do not forget their historical motherland, nation, language, traditions and religion”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said opening the meeting.
Head of republic and guests held a moment of silence in memory of poet Musa Jalil and his companions who were executed in Berlin 67 year ago on August,25. Poet’s daughter Chulpan attended the event.
Rustam Minnikhanov told about projects being realized in Tatarstan, achievements of republic and plans for the future. “In modern world it is difficult to keep native language, culture and traditions. In Tatarstan such activity is well-organized, but outside republic there is no integral policy in this area”, - RT President noted and called compatriots for using modern technologies for studying native Tatar language. He hopes for further development of relations and contacts, support of Tatars leaving for Moscow. “Only if this work is systemic, it will bring results”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Rasim Akchurin thanked President of Tatarstan for reception and told that Tatars living in Moscow are proud of achievements of compatriots in particular because Kazan was chosen a place for holding Universiade-2013, matches of World football championship-2018 and other international events.
Chairman of regional Tatar national – cultural autonomy of Moscow wished so that republic be progressive in all spheres.
RT President marked the contribution of Ravil Gainutdin in maintenance and development of interethnic concord.A letter of gratitude of RT President and a present were handed to mufti who celebrated 52-anniversiary that day. Mufti thanked Head of republic for greetings and congratulated everyone on Ramadan month and forthcoming holidays Lyailatul-cadr and Uraza-Bairam.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
