President of Tatarstan met with delegation of company “IMG sport, entertainment, media”

Issues of cooperation of Tatarstan with one of the leading global companies in the sphere of sale and marketing of commercial assets of stadiums – “IMG sport, entertainment, media” have been discussed today at a meeting of the company’s delegation with President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov, Head of Executive office of Universiade Vladimir Leonov, Director of football stadium being under construction Radik Minnakhmetov took part in the event held in House of RT Government. The company “IMG sport, entertainment, media” was presented by Vice-president Diarmuid Krouli, Chief of Moscow office Andrei Daineko and Director of department for competitions and sport federations Sergei Tukmanov.
“IMG sport, entertainment, media” is the leading global company in the sphere of sale and marketing of commercial assets of stadiums and is involved in making business-plans of new sport objects, development of ticket programs, selling sponsor and other commercial rights and advertising spaces. IMG sport, entertainment, media is the partner of London stadium Wembley that has the highest sale level of representative programs in the world.
Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized the importance of efficient use of new sport buildings being constructed in Kazan in connection with preparation for Universiade-2013. President of Tatarstan said that republic is interested in possible cooperation with IMG sport, entertainment, media on the threshold of Universiade-2013, World championships in water sports and football.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
