Ildar Khalikov meets Plenipotentiary minister of Israel embassy in Russia

Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov met with Plenipotentiary minister of Israel embassy in Russia Mr Roy Rosenblit. The meeting was held in House of RT Government with participation of RT First deputy minister of industry and trade Igor Nosov and Chairman of Jewish community of Tatarstan – President of Federal Jewish national and cultural autonomy Mikhail Skoblionok.
Head of Tatarstan Government has welcomed Mr Rosenblit on behalf of RT President. Ildar Khalikov pointed out active work implemented by Jewish national autonomy in Tatarstan. By words of Prime Minister due to its Head Mikhail Skoblionok the autonomy solves many problems jointly with authorities and public organizations.
“We are very glad that All-Israel association of Tatarstan natives is currently functioning in republic, and Tatar national holiday “Sabantui” is celebrated yearly”, - I.Khalikov stressed addressing to Plenipotentiary minister of Israel embassy in Russia.
RT Premier noted that during the last few years Tatarstan and Israel have been creating new relations in government, cultural and business spheres. Head of RT Government believes that opening of direct flight connection between Tel Aviv and Kazan is very important.
In the course of meeting parties discussed perspective areas for developing business cooperation between Tatarstan and Israel.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
