Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit in Uzbekistan

On September 23, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in Samarkand (the Republic of Uzbekistan), was met by Interim Head of Samarkand region Turbozhon Joraev at the Samarkand International Airport.

Later on today, Tatarstan President plans to visit a number of the city’s historical sites and tomorrow he will head to Tashkent to meet representatives of Tatar public organizations of Uzbekistan and attend a concert of masters of arts of the Republic of Tatarstan to be held at the Alisher Navoiy Opera and Ballet Theatre.

On Monday, the 25th of September, Minnikhanov is scheduled to have a meeting with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of the republic Abdullah Aripov.

During his working visit to Tashkent, Tatarstan President will speak at the Uzbekistan-Tatarstan business forum and visit GM Powertrain Uzbekistan’s production facilities.
