On September 29, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin held a meeting of the Presidium of the regional Cabinet of Ministers which considered the progress made in executing the state programme "Implementation of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015-2020" in the first half of 2017.
The meeting reviewed the results of the programme execution in the first half of 2017 and outlined further measures to enhance the effectiveness of its activities.
Pesoshin reminded that the Ministry of Justice of the republic has been identified as the state customer of the programme.
The programme is aimed to identify and eliminate the causes of corruption, prevent corruption and create conditions that could counter corruption and create an intolerant attitude towards corruption in society.
Making a keynote report at the meeting, Minister of Justice of the republic Rustem Zagidullin said that this year, the employees of the Ministry of Justice have examined the work in six executive authorities and nine municipal regions in accordance with the approved schedule.
Based on the results of the inspections, senior executive officials and regional heads received proposals for improving the work. The results of the inspections are available on the website of the Ministry.
