Rustam Minnikhanov: every member of “United Russia” and All-Russia people's front should contribute in development of republic and country

“United Russia” party and All-Russia people's front should stay a leading political power in the country leadership of RF and its regions can rely on while solving social and economic problems”, - President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated at the second stage of XVIII conference of Tatarstan regional branch of All-Russia political party “United Russia”.
The session took place in RT Academy of sciences with participation of Secretary of political council of Tatarstan branch - chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin, RT Premier Ildar Khalikov, chiefs of municipal regions, ministries and departments.
Participants of the conference summarized preliminary inner-Party voting - primaries and defined the list of Tatarstan delegates for congress of “United Russia” that will be held in Moscow on September, 23-24.
RT President Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the conference started the election campaign of regional branch of the party “United Russia”. R.Minnikhanov stressed that “United Russia” is the leading political party leadership of the country and republic relies on while solving social and economic problems, and foundation of All-Russia people's front was a serious support for the party.
By words of republican head forthcoming elections will be a trial for power. “Power and “United Russia” should go to electors and tell about realized projects and tasks set before us”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said.
According to R.Minnikhanov Tatarstan is one of the leading regions in Russia in which petrochemical sector and mechanical engineering are developing intensively. “Major high-tech global projects are being realized in our republic and if we see last year’s results investments in basic capital made 300 bln. roubles. It is a record-breaking rate” – RT President stated. By his words, industrial output exceeded 1 trillion roubles in 2010 but republican leadership sets an ambitious task to double this rate by 2016. Such measures will lead to increase of tax proceeds, income of the population and will finally improve living standards. To realize the task we have to work more and intensively, implement new technologies, modernize present factories and improve investment climate. It is expected that the role of small and medium business will also increase.
Rustam Minnikhanov considers development of agro-industrial complex to be a priority task of RT leadership. More than 5 mln. tons of grain have been harvested in republic this year and two-year reserve of forage was procured. Moreover, large livestock complexes are being built in Tatarstan. At the same time republican leadership pays much attention to development of minor households.
In 2011 about 1000 multi-apartment houses have been repaired in republic, 90 % of work is already accomplished. RT President assured that realization of this program will continue in future.
According to RT President much work is being done on providing housing for veterans of Great Patriotic War. For the last two years 13 000 veterans have obtained new accommodation.
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that the task is set to provide places in kindergartens for children aged over three years in 2011. The program is being implemented, 11-13 thousand places will be provided in kindergartens by the end of 2011.
RT President noted that the strategy of education development is being successfully realized in Tatarstan, - teachers are provided with laptops, teachers’ salaries are being increased, educational institutions are being reorganized.
The program of health care modernization implies construction and major repair of 40 objects for the sum of 5,6 bln. roubles. Besides, major reconstruction works are being implemented at Regional Clinical Hospital and Children Regional Clinical Hospital.
Speaking about development of physical culture and sport, President of Tatarstan reminded that currently many sport objects are being constructed for Universiade 2013 and within the limits of program realized by the party “United Russia”.
Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that initiative of “United Russia” leader Vladimir Putin to create All-Russia people's front was a timely answer to many questions.
On 27 March, speaking at a ceremonial event dedicated to celebrations of the Day of Russian National Guard held at the Kazan City Hall with participation of the Chief of the Office of the Staff of the Rais of the republic Asgat Safarov, heads of law-enforcement bodies of the republic and veterans and employees of the territorial Directorate of the National Guard, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian National Guard Directorate for the republic Republic of Tatarstan is traditionally acknowledged as one of the best in the country.
On 26 March Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a meeting of the Council by the Russian Presidential Envoy in the Volga Federal District dedicated to rural demographic policy held by the Russian Presidential Envoy in the District Igor Komarov in Nizhniy Novgorod with participation of heads of federal ministries concerned, representatives of the Federal Assembly and heads of federal entities of the Volga Federal District. The participants of the meeting discussed such topics as the demographic situation, implementation of federal programmes and the best regional practices, and the results of the meeting will be used for preparing comprehensive solutions of such tasks set by Russian President Vladimir Putin as preservation of the population, strengthening health, raising prosperity of people and supporting families.
On 24 March, speaking at a briefing on achievements of preventive medicine last year and plans for 2026 held in the Government House of the republic, representatives of Tatarstan Healthcare Ministry said that medical check-ups are proving their effectiveness in preserving the health and lives of residents of the republic.
Thus the regional Healthcare Minister Almir Abashev informed: “Over the past five years, a clear course has been set to ensure that preventative medicine in the country gains momentum. Starting from 2022 the number of people who should have their medical check-ups in this or that year is growing. We are facing a task of covering more than 70 per cent of elderly people with check-ups by 2030.”
On March 10, the third meeting of the organizing committee on preparation and holding of the 20th anniversary Russian Venture Forum 2026 to be held in Kazan from April 8 to 10, chaired by Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov and with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and co-chair of the forum’s organizing committee Aleksey Pesoshin, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Damir Galiev as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions and partner organizations via videoconference, took place.
