Prime Minister of Tatarstan inspects the progress made in filling the Lebyazhye lake system with water

On October 9, in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Aide to Tatarstan President Nataliya Fishman, Director General of Tatmelioratsiya Trust Company Albert Zaripov and other officials took part in an official ceremony to pump water from the Izumrudnoye lake to the Lebyazhye lake system.

As noted at the event, it will take about 120 days and nights to pump water in three Lebyazhye lakes. Major repairs of the pumping station cost 22 million rubles. The total cost of works amounted to 250 million rubles.

Fishman noted that her team has already completed the development of the project for the improvement of the lake territory.

The complete restoration of the unique natural facility will increase the water surface of the lakes from 4.2 to 28 hectares.

“Buran” (Snow storm) plan put into operation in Tatarstan

On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.

On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation. The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
