New Russian vessel made in Tatarstan presented in Sochi

On September,15 presentation of new high-speed passenger vessel of project A145 produced at Gorky Zalenodolsk shipbuilding plant was held in Sochi within the limits of X international investment forum. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov came to see the vessel on the berth of Sochi sea port. Head of Republic was accompanied by RF Deputy Minister of transport Viktor Olersky, RT Vice-premier – Minister of info and communications Nikolay Nikiforov, RT Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, RT Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
The lead ship of project A145 was launched on August,17 2011 on slip of Zalenodolsk shipbuilding plant that is a member of holding company “Ak Bars”. The project A145 was developed by constructors of OOO “Agat Design Bureau” (St.Petersburg) in accordance with modern requirements of the Register and international conventions. Components of leading world producers were used in ship building.
Rustam Minnikhanov together with Viktor Olersky and Mayor of Armavir Andrei Kharchenko inspected the vessel. Head of Tatarstan gave high assessment. “It is a good modern ship and does not have prototypes in the world. Latest tragic accidents indicate that we have to build new ships, new aircrafts. I am sure of perspectives of this vessel”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said.
RF Deputy Minister of transport Viktor Olersky supported the proposal of Rustam Minnikhanov to use ships of project A145 at Black Sea coast.
Ships of project A145 are high-speed and comfortable passenger vessels for transportation of 150 passengers with luggage in coastal sea area with speed of 40 knots (more than 70 km per hour) for the distance 200 miles without refueling. Used technologies let minimizing the pitching that is actual for passengers with sea sickness. Ship control is fully computerized. Computer machinery let controlling movement of the vessel and all its mechanisms.
Security was the main issue in designing the vessel. Besides, requirements of ecological safety were also taken into account. Before putting into operation sea trials should be implemented in Novorossiysk. It will take approximately about a month.
“It is the first vessel in Russia designed and built in accordance with international standards”, - Director and design manager of OOO “Agat Design Bureau” Sergei Porodnikov stated. By his words, that is the reason of good export prospects of vessels designed by project A145.
Currently one more vessel is being built at the plant. It is expected to be put into operation in May 2012. Financing of the building process is realized by the leasing company JSC “Leasing company of Ak Bars bank “Financial economic group”.
In future vessels of project A145 are planned to be used for passenger transportation by touristic and regular routes in sea coastal area. Shipping companies of Southern and Northern regions of Russia, Greece, Spain and Vietnam are interested in purchasing vessels of project A145.
Main features of the ship: overall length - 34,6 m, width - 6,8 m, total displacement – 83 tons, approximate price – 8 mln. US dollars.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
