Tatarstan President meets Minister of State for International Cooperation of UAE Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy

On October 18, during his meeting with the Minister of State for International Cooperation of UAE Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy in Abu Dhabi, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and opportunity to meet.

“We are so impressed by the level of organization of WorldSkills in UAE. Your colleagues from the organizing committee showed and told us everything. You have got a wonderful exhibition complex and highly professional team that organized this championship on a high level.  Russia will host WorldSkills in Kazan in 2019. More than one hundred members of the delegation from Russia and the Republic of Tatarstan are adopting your experience. I congratulate you on perfect organization of the championship. I express my respect for UAE. We are always ready to expand our cooperation. Russian President Vladimir Putin pays special attention to friendly relations with the Islamic countries. By his order I head the Strategic Vision Group “Russia-Islamic world” that unites authoritative politicians, scientists, public and religious figures from 33 countries. We have held three sessions in Moscow, Kazan and Grozny. After the meeting with the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud we agreed on holding the session in Saudi Arabia next year. We are sure that it may become the next step in strengthening of our mutual understating and respect between Islamic countries and Russia,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy thanked for kind words addressed to her motherland: “You have said kind words about UAE. Thank you for taking part in our events. We are very glad that Arab countries and Russia are becoming closer. Russia’s position in the Middle East is very strong and deserves respect. We are all worried about spreading of the ideas of extremism and terrorism. Unfortunately this disease is spreading so quickly. We can only counteract it together. We are glad that you pay much attention to development of economic cooperation and find areas of common interest with UAE companies,” he said.
