President of Bashkortostan visits industrial enterprises in Naberezhnye Chelny

President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has visited Naberezhnye Chelny within the framework of visit to Tatarstan Republic. He was accompanied by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director general of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergei Kogogin, Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Vasil Shaikhraziev.
It is the first time Rustem Khamitov visits republic.
The first place to visit was auto plant JSC “KAMAZ”. The two presidents examined main assembly line. Director general of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergei Kogogin conducted excursion around the enterprise.
240 vehicles are being produced within 24 hours in three shifts on main assembly line. It is more than rated capacity of the plant.
At the KAMAZ research and development centre guests were met by leader of the team “KAMAZ-Master” Semen Yakubov and pilot of the team Eduard Nikolaev. The Bashkir governor was presented a new line of trucks and buses manufactured by the plant.
President of Bashkortostan has also visited Kamsky industrial park “Master” and inspected two enterprises - Kama Electronic Components Plant and joint assembly facility with Mercedes.
Rustem Khamitov was impressed by Kamsky industrial park. More than 160 small and medium enterprises are located on the territory of the park with total area of 115 thousand m². All conditions have been created for their development.
The officials went on to inspect another joint enterprise, CNH Kamaz Industrial, manufacturing New Holland agricultural equipment. The joint venture was launched in 2010, the facility will in December be put into operation and increase its capacity. The plant will next year manufacture 935 harvesters.
Rustem Khamitov was afterwards told about implementation of automated information systems, including SAP, and trends in the Tatarstan’s information technologies implementation process.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
