Rustam Minnikhanov requests to intensify work on realizing program of settling unfit houses
23 September 2011, Friday
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov criticized chiefs of several municipalities because of low rates of the program realization. RT President entrusted local authorities with preparing all documents necessary for receiving funds from republican and federal budgets within a week.
According to the data given by Minister of construction, architecture and housing Irek Faizullin only 166 flats of 598 are now prepared for settlement. Only 16 municipalities have completely prepared all necessary documents. Irek Faizullin was especially dissatisfied with Agryzsky, Pestrechinsky, Kamsko-ustinsky, Zelenodolsk and Mamadysh regions. Non-compliance with the requirements endangers participation of republic in the program next year.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov personally talked to heads of each region and required to complete preparation of all documents within a week. According to R.Minnikhanov they should be personally interested in successful realization of program of settling unfit houses on their territories.
“We allocate republican and federal funds for the program. It gives the opportunity to improve living conditions of people who will never do it by themselves. It is a shame not to use such opportunity”, - R.Minnikhanov said. Moreover such situation puts reputation of our republic in a bad light and prevents Tatarstan from participating in federal programs.
