Rustam Minnikhanov opens reconstructed railway station in Zainsk

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has been on a working trip in Zainsk municipal region accompanied by RT Minister of transport and road facilities Lenar Safin, RT Minister of labor, employment and social protection Airat Shafigullin and Head of Zainsk region Tatiana Voropaeva.
Tatarstan President attended an official opening of railway station “Zainsk” after reconstruction. The railway station was put into operation in 1961. 31,1 mln. roubles have been allocated for major repair works.
At the opening ceremony Tatiana Voropaeva thanked Tatarstan authorities and RZHD (Russian railways) for the reconstruction project.
“Dear Zainsk dwellers, jointly with RZHD (Russian railways) with are adjusting railway stations. A passenger should feel himself comfortable and be rendered the whole range of services. Let me congratulate you on opening this railway station”, - Rustam Minnikhanov stated.
By his words, Tatarstan is a strategic partner of Kuibyshev railways and the largest shipper. It is expected that the cargo traffic will increase twice in the nearest future. RT President thanked RZHD for cooperation.
Later on Tatarstan President and guests had a look at the reconstructed railway station and visited socially rehabilitation unit of Social care centre “Radost” of RT Ministry of labor, employment and social protection on Zainsk region.
A substantial financial aid has been rendered to the centre to purchase the equipment for fitting out the surrounding area, recreation therapy, sensory, herbal tea rooms and residential premises for the sum of 1,84 mln. roubles.
After overhauling the “Radost” centre RT President granted a certificate for purchasing medical equipment to the centre's Director.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
