A unique enterprise Nefis-Bioproduct opened today in Tatarstan. The idea of establishing a company with complete production cycle has long been cherished but its implementation was possible only with participation of investor represented by Nefis group of companies. Such a statement was made today by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the official opening ceremony.
He highlighted that this day is marked by many important events in the Republic, such as the launch of a new fertilizer manufacturing plant, the visit of Sberbank officials to Tatarstan, and the opening of new plant of the Nefis group of companies.
“It is our holiday. I remember the time it was on the stage of construction and the tasks which had to be realized. We faced many problems. But with the help of investor, the Nefis group, all problems were solved. Plants started opening one after another, and new projects were launched. Still for the moment not all ambitious tasks have been implemented yet”, - the President said.
The JSC Nefis-Bioproduct was founded for the purpose of realizing the investment project “Construction of production complex for advanced processing of oilseeds” meant for construction of a complex for processing oilseeds in a single production chain.
The total cost of the project is 16 bln roubles. The new plant is mainly aimed at the production of packages with high usability and aesthetic characteristics. It is expected that it will favor Tatarstan products at the Russian market with a competitive advantage.
Moreover, the new complex will ensure higher tax returns to budgets of various levels, provide import substitution by high-tech competitive products and enlarge the outlet for agricultural producers. Launching the enterprise will also help solving some social problems providing 1100 new jobs.
