Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin holds reception of citizens

On November 29, in the regional office of Chairman of the United Russia Party Dmitry Medvedev, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin held a reception of citizens by video-link.

A dweller from Agryz region of the republic addressed the Prime Minister with a request to assist her in purchasing a multifunctional medical bed for her elderly mother, who has the first category of disability. Pesoshin gave an errand to take this issue under control and to attract sponsorship.

A citizen from Kazan, a person of the first category of disability since childhood, who can move only with the help of a wheelchair, appealed next. Despite serious health problems, the young girl leads an active lifestyle. She asked Pesoshin to help her with purchasing a new powered wheelchair. He addressed social services to support this young girl and to find extra-budgetary funds.

The staff of one of kindergartens of Kazan asked Pesoshin to help them with replacing old windows, because they are blown thoroughly and even with the beginning of the heating season, it is cold inside.

Pesoshin instructed to consider the possibility to include the kindergarten in the programme of capital repair of educational facilities for 2018.

The next appeal related the topic of sport. A man said that a new management of the Batyr sports complex intends to reorganize the facility to make it a judo and sambo centre by closing a weightlifting section. The man was concerned about a place for weightlifting workouts and further employment of coaches.

According to Pesoshin, weightlifting is significant kind of sport in Kazan. The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the republic had suggested moving the weightlifting department together with coaches from the Batyr sports complex to the Sports Training Center. Besides, it was decided to organize workouts in the sports halls of universities equipped with everything necessary for strength sport activities.
