Rustam Minnikhanov: The United Russia party’s projects implemented in the republic meet the public’s needs

On December 2, at the K.Tinchurin Tatar State Drama and Comedy Theatre, speaking at the 27th Conference of Tatarstan regional branch of the All-Russian political party "United Russia" Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that over 30 state programmes developed to meet the public’s needs are implemented in Tatarstan annually.

Welcoming the activists of the regional branch of the United Russia Party, he said that the role the party plays in socio-political development of Tatarstan is determined by many factors. «First of all, we are supported by the party majority. Almost everywhere, administrative authorities of cities and regions are represented by the heads of the United Russia party departments, which contributes to strengthening the party’s standing locally. Besides, the party’s projects implemented in the republic meet the public’s needs”, he noted.

Minnikhanov emphasized that the members of the United Russia party have made significant contribution to the implementation of the economic and social development strategies of the republic. Prominent public leaders, the best teachers and doctors, well-known figures in science and culture, famous athletes, successful businessmen are among the party’s activists.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Russian President for his support in the implementation of the regional initiatives and promising projects in industry, infrastructure development, holding global sporting events such as the 2013 Summer Universiade, FINA Aquatics Championships 2015, FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 and matches of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. “All this makes Tatarstan more attractive region with a high standard of living,” Minnikhanov summed up.

Summing up, Tatarstan President expressed his confidence that the forthcoming congress of the United Russia party will take important decisions related to further strengthening the unity of Russian society, the prosperity of the country and all its regions.
