Rustam Minnikhanov congratulates residents of Naberezhnye Chelny on moving to new flats under social mortgage programme

On December 8, during his working visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of moving in a new multi-apartment house build under the social mortgage programme.

As many as 183 families moved into the new house today. Public-sector employees, employees of local enterprises and specialists who won a special grant got new flats.

Minnikhanov congratulated them on moving to the new house and noted that major work on construction of housing, including that under the social mortgage programme, is under way in the republic.  "To have your own apartment is happiness for every family. We pay great attention to increasing demography and creating comfortable conditions for our citizens. Every year about a thousand apartment buildings are being repaired, new houses are being built in the republic. Young families, public-sector employees can take part in the social mortgage programme implemented in the republic,” Tatarstan President emphasized.

Minnikhanov noted positive changes that are currently taking place in the city: "New roads are being built, hospitals, educational institutions are being upgraded. We will continue this work in the future."
