In connection with detaining head of RT Verkhneuslonsky region Alexandr Timofeev by RT law enforcement bodies, the RT President Press service reports the following.
A goal-seeking work conducted by RT leadership within the framework of combating corruption keeps brining results. On Friday, October 21, in Kazan head of Verkhneuslonsky region Alexandr Timofeev was detained during taking bribe.
At present, an address of RT President R.N. Minnikhanov to deputies of Verkhneuslonsky region is being prepared on release of Alexandr Timofeev from duties of chief of the region.
Detention of Verkhneuslonsky head of region A. Timofeev once more shows that President of Tatarstan follows a distinct policy for liquidation of corruption at all levels of power. Law enforcement bodies will meticulously verify all suspicions in corruptive activity and no official, whatever position he holds, avoid responsibility in case of committing such crimes.
Leadership of Tatarstan from its part will render all necessary promotion to investigation agencies for detecting corruption affairs up to the end and perpetrators bear full responsibility.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
