Aleksey Pesoshin hands over keys to new special-purpose vehicles to Tatarstan rescuers

On December 15, at the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Tatarstan, Prime Minister of the republic Alexey Pesoshin handed over keys to 20 new units of fire-rescue equipment to regional rescuers.

Pesoshin noted that Tatarstan has always paid special attention to ensuring the security of citizens, facilities and settlements, with technical equipment of fire and rescue units being an important part of this work.

"This is the third time this year our rescuers have received new vehicles purchased using federal and regional funds. Today, we are handing over keys to 20 units provided by the republic by the decision of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov,” he added.

Handing in the keys, Pesoshin laid flowers at the monument to firefighters killed while performing their duties.

As noted at the event, a total of 28 units of special-purpose equipment have been purchased for the needs of fire-rescue and rescue units of the republic this year. As many as 177 million roubles, including 42 million rubles from the regional budget, have been allocated for this purpose.
