Tatarstan President took part in official opening of new fire station in Arsk

The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in opening of new fire station during a working trip to Arsk municipal district on November 1.
Total cost of the project made 41,5 mln roubles. 25 mln roubles was provided by the Tatarstan budget, 16,5 mln roubles – by other sources including Fund of fire safety, the Ministry of emergency situations on RT and local budget.
Today the issues of fire safety are of great importance in republic, Rustam Minnikhanov said. It implies first of all include ensuring safety of citizens, and objects of real sectors of economy.
Head of Republic reminded that the strong draught of 2010 which made us think about upgrading of facilities at fire stations, accurate training of fire services for any actions in emergency situations, and preventive measures on firefighting.
RT President granted keys of three new fire-fighting vehicles to employees of fire stations of Arsk municipal district.
We remind that in 2011 Tatarstan Government purchased 50 vehicles at the expense of the republican budget. OOO “Signaldortrans” (Naberezhnye Chelny) was involved in their re-equipment. In the nearest time fire stations of GU “Fire protection service of the Republic of Tatarstan” will receive these vehicles.
Chief of Volga regional centre of the Russian ministry of emergency situations lieutenant general Igor Panshin wished Arsk firemen to have less fires and granted a gym simulator.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
