Rustam Minnikhanov visited travelling exhibition complex of JSC “Russian railways”

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov viewed the exposition of travelling exhibition-lecture complex of JSC “Russian railways”. Head of Republic was accompanied by chiefs of several ministries and departments.
At Kazan railway station Rustam Minnikhanov viewed the exhibition of Tatarstan enterprises manufacturing products for needs of JSC “Russian railways”. He was accompanied by the Head of Gorky railway Anatoly Lesun. IT innovations used at railway transport were presented to the guests.
Anatoly Lesun informed Rustam Minnikhanov about prospects of the project on organizing high-speed passenger service between Moscow and Kazan. Tatarstan President said he supports the project. He believes a high-speed train with travelling time of 5 hours can seriously compete with air service.

The exposition demonstrates advanced info solutions in the sphere of railway transport, nanotechnologies, energy, and staff training.
Rustam Minnikhanov got familiar with models of advanced equipment used at Russian railways.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
