VI International Lean-forum “Efficient processes – high productivity” to be held in Kazan

VI International Lean-forum “Efficient processes – high productivity” will be held in Kazan on November 22. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in the event. Such information was given today by Deputy minister of industry and trade Gulnara Akhmadeeva at a briefing in RT Cabinet. Representatives of Russian government authorities, RF chamber of commerce and industry, international lean coaches, chiefs of major industrial enterprises of Russia and CIS countries will take part in the forum.
The event is organized by RT Ministry of industry and trade, JSC KAMAZ, RT chamber of commerce and industry, chamber of commerce and industry of Naberezhnye Chelny and region “Zakamie”.
Partners of the forum: «Lean-Coaching» company (UK), «McKinsey&Co» company (UK), «Kaidzen» institute (Moscow).
A plenary session and four master classes will be held in the context of event. One master-class will be performed by Chairman of committee on developing production system of JSC KAMAZ Igor Medvedev.
Moreover, theme discussions are planned as well. Chiefs of enterprises and organizations will be told about modern concepts and strategies of developing production system on the basis of “lean production” principles, means of increasing quality and competitiveness of enterprises and organizations. Up-to-date solutions on implementing tools of “lean production” will be demonstrated to attendees of the event.
Five lean forums with participation of 2000 people representing 600 enterprises of Russian regions have been held since 2009.
According to Gulnara Akhmadeeva from the beginning of “lean production” project realization in Tatarstan the number of participants increased 8 times. Now more than 80 enterprises in the sphere of mechanical engineering, light industry, petrochemistry, energy, agriculture, transport, communications and health care are taking part in the event.
“A target program on implementing lean production in Tatarstan has been developed for three years. Currently it is being endorsed by the relevant ministries and should be finally approved by the end of this year. 103 mln roubles were allocated for this project”, Gulnara Akhmadeeva informed.
On March 10, the third meeting of the organizing committee on preparation and holding of the 20th anniversary Russian Venture Forum 2026 to be held in Kazan from April 8 to 10, chaired by Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov and with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and co-chair of the forum’s organizing committee Aleksey Pesoshin, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Damir Galiev as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions and partner organizations via videoconference, took place.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
