Tatarstan PM visits Institute of informatics of RT Academy of sciences

On December 1 Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov visited Institute of informatics of RT Academy of sciences. Head of republican government learnt about current activity of the institute and perspective projects.

Opening the meeting with management of the institute Ildar Khalikov said its activity attracts interest of republican authorities. According to the Premier he is going to visit other institutes of RT Academy of sciences.

Information about work of Institute of informatics was presented to Head of RT Government. Thus, Tatarstan scientists cooperate with similar scientific centres of Moscow, St.Petersburg, Canada, Singapore, Great Britain, France, Switzerland and USA.

One of the main areas of fundamental research is construction of quantum computing. In prospect these research will let creating quantum computers, - computing machinery much more powerful than those of the present-day.

Application developments of the institute were also presented to Ildar Khalikov. Its employees executed different orders of large companies such as Bank of Russia, JSC “RZHD” (Russian railways), United shipbuilding corporation.

Scientists told about perspective fields of work for Tatarstan enterprises. In particular, development of information systems for petrochemical complex, agricultural enterprises, management for transport infrastructure.
