Rustam Minnikhanov: social mortgage program should receive support and be continued

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov highlighted the importance of social mortgage program on housing construction for Republic. At a weekly video conference meeting Head of Tatarstan expressed gratitude to republican enterprises for formation of the program budget.
According to the Chief of Department for construction, transport, housing-communal and road facilities at RT Cabinet Ildar Sibgatullin, of 14,43 bln roubles (the cost of commissioned objects by social mortgage program) 12,5 bln roubles have now been drawn.
By words of Rustam Minnikhanov heads of municipalities and public authorities should pay attention to the program.
Tatarstan President reminded as well about necessary observance of construction schedules. By results of 11 months 2011 2 mln m² of housing (84% of annual task) have been commissioned in Republic. 27 municipalities have fulfilled the annual plan in full.
172 houses of 150 have been commissioned by the social mortgage program.

On March 10, the third meeting of the organizing committee on preparation and holding of the 20th anniversary Russian Venture Forum 2026 to be held in Kazan from April 8 to 10, chaired by Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov and with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and co-chair of the forum’s organizing committee Aleksey Pesoshin, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Damir Galiev as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions and partner organizations via videoconference, took place.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.

On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.

On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
