Rustam Minnikhanov arrives in Austria

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has arrived in Austria with a working visit.
Director-general of JSC “Svyazinvestneftehim” Valery Sorokin, Head of Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, Director of Department for external relations- Aide to RT President on international issues Iskander Muflikhanov, Director-general of OOO “Vasilievsky glass factory” Oleg Antonov are on the Tatarstan official delegation.
Tatarstan delegation visits Austria is a response to the visit of Austrian official delegation led by the President Heinz Fisher in May 2011.
Rustam Minnikhanov has visited the federal state Tyrol, one of the most popular ski resorts in the world Innsbruck, and the capital of Austria Vienna.
The itinerary implies several meetings. i.a. with the President of Austria Heinz Fisher, Governor of the federal state Tyrol Günther Platter, and top management of Swarovski.
Rustam Minnikhanov is going to see the Danube cascade of hydropower station of “Andritz Hydro” company, meet with the President of Austrian Olympic committee Karl Stoss and leaders of some Austrian companies.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
