Rustam Minnikhanov reviews the project of automated traffic control system for Kazan in Austria

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has reviewed the presentation of Swarco AG company in Innsbruck in the context of his working visit to Austria.
The project of intelligence transport system for Kazan was presented to the Head of Republic. The intelligence traffic control system is to be implemented in Kazan during Universiade-2013. Swarco AG is going to demonstrate the first cluster in February 2012.
Swarco AG is a world leader in the sphere of development and implementation of intelligence transport systems. In particular, the company developed the system in Turin in the context of preparation for Winter Olympic games 2006. Moreover, Swarco traffic control systems are functioning in Budapest, Berlin, Stockholm and other big European cities.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
