Ildar Khalikov introduces new Head of Kazan power engineering university to the staff

Edward Abdullazyanov was assigned to the post of acting rector of Kazan power engineering university. Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov introduced new Head to the staff on December 8.
Speaking to the staff of Kazan power engineering university Ildar Khalikov firstly expressed condolences to relatives of the former rector Yury Petrushenko who passed away on November 20.
Head of the RT Government read out the order of RF Ministry of education and science on imposing duties of rector of the university on Edward Abdullazyanov.
Edward Yunusovich Abdullazyanov was born in 1957, graduated from Kazan branch of Moscow power engineering university in 1981. From 1988 Edward Abdullazyanov worked in Tatenergo subdivisions. For the last three years he held a post of Deputy Director-general of JSC “Setevaya kompaniya” (network company). From 2007 Edward Abdullazyanov also headed the department “Energy supply of enterprises of agro-industrial complex” at Kazan power engineering university.
RT Premier addressed heads of energy enterprises with request to provide cooperation with the university in the sphere of HR development. Ildar Khalikov congratulated Edward Abdullazyanov on behalf of Tatarstan President and Government wishing good luck on the new post.
Minister of energy Ilshat Fardiev told about areas of the university development. He believes Kazan power engineering university should establish relations with new energy enterprises and federal institutions.
Moreover, for efficient activity of the university it is important to interact with institutions of primary and secondary professional education.
New Head of Kazan power engineering university thanked Tatarstan leadership for vested confidence and assured the set problems would be solved in the course of joint work of the university and republican enterprises.
Upon completion of the meeting Ildar Khalikov got acquainted with activity of the university. The training centre “Schneider Electric - Tatenergo” and the department of relay protection and automation of electric power systems were presented to the Head of Tatarstan Government.
On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation.
The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
