Ildar Khalikov: results of Social Insurance Fund activity are seen in smiles of those sure in being protected by the state

A solemn meeting dated to 20th anniversary of Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation took place in Kazan on December 15. Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov attended the event.

“20 years is not a big period for state power, but for Russia it was uneasy time of turmoils and crises. That is why this anniversary is very special”, Head of RT Government said. He kindly recalled those who formed social insurance system of the Republic 20 years ago.

“The most important thing is that a professional team of like-minded people who present here today and work in regional branches has been formed within this period of time. Usually results of activity are summarized on an anniversary. Thus, results of your activity are seen in smiles of those people sure in being protected by the state”, Ildar Khalikov addressed the audience.

He granted letters of gratitude of RT Cabinet to employees of RF Social Insurance Fund on RT.

“Currently more than 118 thousand insuring parties are registered in Regional branch of the Fund on RT. These are enterprises, organizations, institutions of various property categories”, Manager of regional branch Ramil Gaizatullin informed.

We remind Social Insurance Funs was founded on January 1, 1991. Funds were not included in state budget and were formed at the expense of insurance tariff. This opened opportunities for transferring to insurance principles.

For the first time the Fund’s budget was approved by federal law in 1994.
