President of Tatrstan Rustam Minnikhanov has held today a regular board of directors session of JSC Tatneftekhiminvest-holding at the RT House of Government.
Dmitry Konov, general director of OOO SIBUR (managing organization of holding), told about the prospects of SIBUR holding until 2030. Speaking about interrelations of SIBUR with the oil-gas chemical complex of Tatarstan he said that «we have approached to the stage of searching directions of cooperation».
The Holding was set up in 1995 on the basis of enterprises on processing casing head-gas and evolved by way of acquisition of adjoining production objects. Today SIBUR - the largest oil chemical company of Russia and Eastern Europe with a complete sector cycle from gas processing, production of monomers, plastics and synthetic rubber up to release of mineral fertilizers, tyres and processing plastics. The company issues over 2000 denominations of output.
The projects of SIBUR in the sphere of transporting and processing casing head-gas and broad fraction of light hydrocarbons caused a special interest among the session participants since this point is very actual for Tatarstan.
Rustam Minnikhanov voiced for the necessity of cooperation with SIBUR having marked that «though it is not so simple». «Several working groups have been set up, we will work constructively», - head of Tatarstan assured.

General director of Tatneftekhiminvest- holding Rafinat Yarullin reported on implementation of the decisions as of November 7, 2011, of Government Commission on issues of fuel-energy complex development (commission is headed by deputy RF Chairman of Government Igor Sechin). One of the key points he specified was the issue of price forming on petroleum and he asked to make the information on this point ultimately open.
Rafinat Yarullin offered to come out before the above-mentioned Commission with an initiative: to create on the basis of JSC TANECO a park of testing installations of federal value in the sphere of oil processing and oil chemistry.

The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
