Tatarstan President congratulates move-ins in new social mortgage house in Kazan
A new residential building on Kzyl Armeiskaya street has been commissioned.
A new residence, built within a social mortgage plan, has been delivered on the Kzyl Armeiskaya street in Kazan.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, construction minister Irek Faizullin, Kazan mayor Ilsur Metshin, aide to President of Tatarstan on welfare Tatiana Larionova and other officials congratulated the residents on moving in.
The total space of the 10-storey brick building is nearly 7 thousand square metres. The ground floor is to house a kindergarten for 70 children.
Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin viewed some flats and visited the family of Sadrievs, congratulating them on a new home.
Rustam Minnikhanov gave a present to the head of the family Ramil Sadriev who in return played on a violin for the guests. Sadriev is a member of the European String Teachers Association and a winner of international competitions. The Sadrievs had waited for a flat for three years and were happy to receive it in a place from where they do not have to spend 3 hors to go to work.

“In construction we are ending the year with all the planed targets reached,” Tatarstan construction minister told journalists. “Two more buildings are left to be delivered within the social mortgage plan, they are expected to be put into operation next week.” In 2012, sports facilities will continue to be built. “The main task is to get the city ready for Universiade,” the minister noted. The work within the social mortgage plan will next year continue as well, at 600 thousand square metres is tasked to be built. besides, constructing kindergartens within public private partnership will be a priority. Businesses get increasingly interested in these projects, I. Faizullin noted.
The plan for social mortgage construction in Kazan in 2011 was 4,214 flats. The year’s plan has been exceeded, a total of over 251 thousand square metres having been put into operation.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.

On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
